It is quite frustrating to know that almost all benefits available to veterans mandate that you be 100% permanently disabled. I am 90% disabled from the Vietnam era (too old for education or job benefits and already own a house for 2 years in this beautiful state) and think that if the state truly wants to reach out to veterans, they should look at helping us older vets that fought for the country and are now paying for it and need help financially.
