Nikki I don't live in South Carolina but i live in North Carolina and it has bothered me, my family and many american's around me with the confederate flag being took down! I know this message wont even get to you for you to see it but I still want to try! My house has been so down and upset today knowing that you signed that! Do you not realize that you gave the charleston murderer what he wanted? What about everyone else who that flag symbolizes their heritage? Do we not matter anymore because we are the minority?! That's what you made it seem like! We get accused of being racist and everything else and are not allowed to have but so many white people at jobs or schools but 97 percent of the people that surrounded you today were african Americans who of course don't like our confederate flag! Thats racist to me and you made me lose trust and respect for what you did! The first day this happened you said you wasn't going to do that to your people now whats the difference in today? You showed that everyone else does not matter and now we have the naacp coming in and i feel that since you are taking the confederate flag down that naacp should not be allowed anywhere that's not right! We love everybody and do not want anything to happen to anybody. You have been a very good governor and me and my husband always talked about that but after today it has changed! I'm starting to not understand why you people have let that little idiot get what he wanted! He also had african flags and a golds gym flag why don't you shut the golds gym down and stop the naacp from gathering around that's only fair! We have had so much took from us because of our flag that does not represent hate or racism at all it is just nobody has been educated with the right information on it! I am heartbroken and feel that it's only gonna get worse and the south hasn't got fired up just yet but if we keep getting stuff took from us we will fire back! I don't want that to happen but we have to start standing our ground, getting off our asses and show you people what we are made of and you can perpetuate us for something we are not some more but eventually we will get back to where we was and it wont matter anymore since to you people we don't matter anyways since we are the minority! You want to take 5,000 steps backwards you people will live in it!!
