SI Group, Inc. acquired the former Albemarle site in Orangeburg, SC in 2014.  Under our ownership we have pursued Palmetto STAR certification from SC OSHA and have verbal notification that we have successfully completed the intensive auditing process by SC OSHA.  Our site will be the largest PSM covered chemical manufacturing site in the state to achieve this certification and we will be planning a celebration for our Palmetto STAR flag raising.  Our CEO and North America VP will be attending along with other community leaders and partners.  We would like to invite Gov. Haley to join us for this celebration.  The acquisition of the Orangeburg site is a key component in our long term growth strategy and we have several exciting opportunities that may have a significant, positive impact on our South Carolina site.
