March is Music in our schools month. James H Hendrix Elementary School in Boiling Springs, SC is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Music in our Schools Month with a festival featuring performances by local groups, district students, and local college music programs. We would like a proclamation for March 2017, 2016 to be honored as a day that schools in SC celebrate Arts in our schools, whether it be Art, Creative Movement, Drama, or Music. And we would also like to make that same day, Hendrix Arts Day.
