I understand you are beyond busy with the flood and I most certainly appreciate what you do for our state and want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am contacting you for assistance, one you could possibly help with or even point me in the right direction. I am seeking to clean up our city of Gaffney. One thing I target is addiction as I used to be an addict myself. My hope is that you can reach out to your contacts or give me a list of people who I could reach out to who could help this hope come to life. We are seeking to better our county through 1 the love of Jesus and 2 to shine this love to its people. We are seeking a grant for our rehab facility in Gaffney SC. www.churchbuildersofgaffney.org and www.facebook.com/churchbuildersofgaffney will give more insight on who we are. We are recognized by the city and have all the facilities needed to house 16 individuals and help them overcome addiction we are just lack all of the funding. We have a facility located at 3005 old Georgia hwy which is known as the Decamp house. it is an 8500 sq ft building that the owner Larry Sossamon is selling to us at a very inexpensive amount. We have been a shelter for the past 2 years but recently we transitioned into a rehabilitation center. We have daily council with a licensed counselor and daily work and activities to help them overcome addiction.
