This will be my first time contacting a representative.  I feel very strongly about our need to welcome refugees who are escaping terror into our community.  Our state has always boasted how it aims to preserve values.  However, when really called upon to demonstrate this, it seems we are failing.  I hope that our state will not backslide on the Christian values that we seek to embody in a moment of weakness and fear.  From my understanding and based on the the information that I have gathered from publicly available documents, refugees already go through an extensive and drawn out process in order to be classified as a "refugee" and are more thoroughly screened than individuals using tourist visas.  In summary, please allow our citizens the opportunity to welcome these refugees.  ISIS has already terrorized them enough; I would prefer to not continue their evil mission for them and would appreciate your assistance in not doing so.  Thank you and I look forward to your response.
