My name is Martha Ward I'm a 65 year old disabled woman that has had 4 strokes, 2 hip replacements and a knee replacement. My furniture was destroyed by water damage. I called FEMA for help I was told I didn't have enough damages for help, so I tried to get a loan, was denied because I don't have enough income.It's my understanding that FEMA's mission is to lead America to prepare for, prevent,respond to and recover from disasters with a vision of "A Nation Prepared". I'm an American tax payer so where's my help. On April 1,1979 President Jimmy Carter signed the executive order that created FEMA. All I'm asking is for FEMA to do what they were created to do.FEMA's budget for 2015 received $10.38 billion under President Obama, so I know they have the money. Please help me and my disabled cousin to get some furniture we have been sleeping on the floor since November 13, 2015.
