We are traditionally a very gun friendly state and make it as little of a nuisance as possible to obtain a concealed weapon permit, which I posses and also understand the Governor does as well. This raises the question to me though that if I can be so trusted to carry a firearm in public concealed on my person why do I not also have the liberty to openly carry my firearm and not try to hide it? I by no means would support someone walking into a local restaurant carrying a rifle. I do not feel the open carry of firearms would cause a public panic or any type of scare. I do fully believe however that this would help to reduce crime rates even further in our already safe state. The fact of the matter is that as concealed weapon permit holders we have proven to be trustworthy, responsible, and level headed individuals. Allow us the right to openly carry our handguns in the same legal and just fashion as we do when concealed. Thank you for your time, Drew Bracken "Dum Spiro Spero"
