We currently provide equine-assisted therapy for abused and traumatized children, women, family members, and veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder. On Saturday, April 23, from noon-3 PM, we will be holding an open-house and media day at our location in Murrells Inlet. At that time, we will make the announcement that we are expanding our services to include hippotherrapy, thus enabling us to serve our special needs and traumatic brain injury population, as well as our Autistic and Down Syndrome communities in Horry and Georgetown Counties. We will be the only facility within a two-hour radius that serves both the psychological and physical needs using horses. Please join us! Since our inception in 2011 as a 501(c)3 charity, we have grown by leaps and bounds. We have been recently named as one of three finalists for Non-Profit of the Year by the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce. Another reason I am contacting you is to seek your help purchasing the farm that we currently lease. We are conveniently located in Murrells Inlet so that we can serve both Horry and Georgetown Counties with this unique program. We will be seeking any available government grants and could really use your input and assistance. Again, please join us for this big day and help us celebrate our future.
