Because some politicians hate Obamacare, we are one of two dozen states that declined the Medicaid expansion in the Affordable Care Act. It is foolish, especially when considering that it would be funded by the federal government. States are actively sabotaging the health care of their own constituents. A recent Harvard study shows that states rejecting the Medicaid expansion will mean eight million uninsured Americans, and up to 17,000 premature and avoidable deaths. Please accept the Medicaid expansion. As a voter in your state, I will remember what you did on this issue.
