He is not fit to hold office and should either resign willingly or be fired for malfeasance.  Please do not wait until he is indicted.  There are laws that allow you to remove him.  We pray that you will act swiftly.  We the people of Berkeley County live with this ongoing embarassment.  The officers who work each day do so shamed by the person who is sworn to lead them.  Please put this to rest quickly so we can have an election for another Sheriff and can get back to the everyday tasks at hand.  Thank you for your kind attention to this most urgent matter.
