Ellen,
I have copied Katherine Thomas on the is email. She can assist with the proclamation.
As far as the Governor’s attendance, it would be best if you reached back out to me in mid-December. I should have a better understanding of the Governor’s availability in late January at that point.
Thanks,
Nicole

Subject: National School Choice Week 2016
Dear Nicole,
It’s hard to believe that it’s already time to start talking about 2016 calendars, but I wanted to touch base briefly about our upcoming National School Choice Week Rally! This year, it will be on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 and will start at the Statehouse at noon.
We’d be honored if Governor Haley would present a proclamation and speak again for a few minutes – she was so well-received last year and the event garnered incredible statewide media coverage. Our goal this year is to double our turnout from last year! Here is the link to all of the event details (you may recognize someone in one of those pictures J). More partner logos will be added in the coming days as well.
We’d like to especially focus the rally this year on education and more high-quality choices as the answer for students living in rural areas and students in poverty…which we can proudly do on the north steps of the Statehouse now that the distraction of the Flag has been dealt with thanks to Governor Haley’s leadership.
Thank you so much for your help with this – please let me know what other details I can provide for your consideration!
Sincerely,
E
