SALUDA COUNTY 4-H LIVESTOCK SHOWS SCHEDULED
SALUDA---The 4-H Club members of Saluda County will be exhibiting their prize beef cattle, dairy cattle, market lambs, meat goats, chickens and dogs at the Saluda 4-H Livestock Shows on Monday, October 1 and Tuesday, October 2, 2001.
The schedule of events includes:
Monday, October 1, 2001
4:00 PM - 4-H Pullet Showmanship Competition
5:00 PM - 4-H Pullet Sale
5:30 PM - 4-H Dog Club Exhibition
6:00 PM - 4-H Dairy Show
Tuesday, October 2, 2001
4:00 PM - 4-H Meat Goat Show
5:00 PM - 4-H Market Lamb Show
6:00 PM - 4-H Beef Heifer and Steer Show
These special events will take place at the Central Milk Producers Show and Sale Arena at the Saluda County Fairgrounds.
In addition to the Saluda County 4-H Livestock Shows, the Saluda county Forestry Association will hold a meeting on Tuesday, September 4, 2001, at 7 PM at the Hollywood Ruritan Building. The meeting topic will be ÒEstate Planning and Wealth Transfer Strategies for Forest Landowners.
Presenters will be Edward Tuggle, Financial Consultant at A.G. Edwards in Columbia and David Siddons, Esq. Certified Specialist in Taxation Law.
The Saluda County Forestry Association, consisting of over 130 members, is open to all forest landowners and others interested in promoting better foresstry practices. Membership dues are $10 per year.
