I voted for you. I backed you with money. I am a Republican and was an 8 year County Council member in Beaufort. I am stunned by your comments. You had an opportunity to UNITE the party and speak to widely held beliefs - and you destroyed them.
I am a Republican that has had it with the Lindsey Graham, Mitch McConnell, John McCain, Reince Preibus version of my Party. If you have decided to join them and not represent us - you have lost me and more important - my family.
My daughter and family is still in Sc and we still support issues, charities and candidates there. I am so disappointed with your speech
Understand Governor - I will vote for Trump. I do NOT want a single Muslim coming into my nation until we know background and what their intentions are. If we can't get that information - no entry - period.
Would it have made you more comfortable if Trump had said no immigrants from Pakistan, Iran, Syria, Egypt, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. instead of saying the obvious - no Muslims? What is the difference? What the heck is wrong with you people?
In the end - are you part of the "establishment" - preferring Hillary to Donald? Is that your position?
Unite instead of divide - you have become a massive disappointment.
