I don't think SC should have a dog in that fight. We do not produce and sell coal. We do not produce and sell petroleum. We do not stand to lose sales of energy by cleaning up power production in this state. Rather, we should see a clean-air health benefit for our children and elderly. We have an abundance of solar and wind energy readily available for the taking. We stand to gain jobs in the clean energy sector. These jobs will be distributed throughout the state (e.g. installing solar panels). Let's not waste taxpayer money fighting for old, dirty technology to benefit Alaska, Canada, Wyoming, West Virginia, and OPEC. The web designer should know that this blue & white striped web page is very hard on my 77-year-old eyes. Not user friendly!
