My name is Megan West and am planning to deliver my first child at the Charleston Birth Place in mid-July; just one month after the mid-June deadline given by DHEC in their letter dated March 6, 2014 . I need your support in getting DHEC officials to come to the table with birth center representatives to solve the issue surrounding physician collaboration before the June deadline. There are countless reasons why my husband and I have chosen this option for our delivery and have our OBGYN's (Dr. James T Martin) full support. We would greatly appreciate it if our legislators would be our voice. Thank you!
