We hired you to stand up to big, bullying government decisions, put your foot down and insist that there be no refugee settlement in SC. A number of refugee families have already been placed here. So what of them? And are more coming? We are all painfully aware that there is no intelligent, adequate vetting system in place. Now, I have some considerable concerns about sending my child to school, going into public places where crowds gather and so on. Over reaction? Not as someone who knows too well what terrorism feels like. The form letters to SC residents aren't enough. We need real responses from real people and we need you to get involved with Tim Scott on this, bang your fist down and say "absolutely not!" Please tell us what of more substance you're doing on this matter, it is probably the most important discussion at this time.
