SCFAA Presents Scholarship

Brett Key, a member of the Belton-Honea Path FFA (Future Farmers of America) Chapter was recently awarded the Hilton V. Rogers Scholarship for 2002 by the South Carolina Fertilizer and Agrichemical Association (SCFAA). Key, a recent graduate of Belton-Honea High School, will be attending Clemson University in the fall majoring in Agricultural Education.

The scholarship was awarded at the annual State FFA convention held at Clemson University. The scholarship is presented in honor of Hilton V. Rogers, a retired Clemson University employee. Mitch Binnarr, President of the South Carolina Fertilizer and Agrichemicals Association, and Rogers presented the scholarship to Key. Glenn Stevens, Agricultural Education teacher at Belton-Honea High School, was Brett’s FFA Advisior.
