Yesterday, Feb. 1st (the day after open enrollment ended) I received a letter from my health insurance company (BCBS) stating that my monthly premium was increasing by 70 bucks starting on March 1st (it increased by over $100 the year before "bc I turned 30"). I have a personal plan that was grandfathered in. My "benefit period" started over January 15th and I do NOT think it's fair that they are allowed by law to inform you that there will be an increase in your premium AND/OR inform you that your plan is being renewed after the open enrollment date is closed. I do not qualify for special enrollment because my plan was not cancelled.  So....now I'm stuck paying a fortune for health insurance. How are people suppose to succeed if they own a small business? I'm a healthy young female trying to make it, come on! You are my Governor and I voted for you because you promised to represent the people. REPRESENT US and FIGHT for us. This is NOT fair!
