Hi Jim – I don’t know a lot about this event, but Bill Frehse’s email address is bill.frehse.bw6q@statefarm.com. The event is on January 20th, so if you could get him the welcome letter a week before, so that he has time to frame it.

The event is the 250th celebration of the German American Friendly Society.

Please let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks,

Debbie Moise

Yes, I think a welcome letter would be ideal.

Jim, Debbie can connect you with Bill Frehse, who will have all the details and date needed by.

Thanks,

We could do a welcome letter.  Debbie and Beth, is this something we should do?  If so, please send Jim Casserly all the details and the deadline.

Thanks,

Katherine

Nicole: Just a follow up – Since the Ambassador will be in South Carolina for our banquet, he probably has contacted the Governor re a get together (in Columbia) – do you think the Governor would wish to send someone in her place ?? If so, we would like to send an invitation – could you pls check and then let me know who and what address to send it to. One more thing pls, we are printing a program for our event and wish to place a picture of the Governor which we can get off the internet - could

You please check and see if someone could write a couple of sentences (proclamation) congratulating the GFS on our 250 years ?? We would place it by her picture – Thank you – Bill Frehse

Mr. Frehse,

Thank you for your email. I am glad you found my name online. I appreciate you thinking of Governor Haley to attend the 250th annual celebration dinner on the evening of Wednesday, January 20, 2015 at the Yacht Club. Governor Haley unfortunately will be unable to attend because she will be giving her annual State of the State Address that evening in Columbia. Thank you for  thinking of Governor Haley, and best wishes on a wonderful celebration in January.

Take care,

Nicole

N: I’m glad I found your name – I sent an email to the governor’s office a couple of weeks ago and haven’t heard back. Now that I have the correct person, all should be fine  -  My name is Bill Frehse and I am the President of the German Friendly Society here in downtown Charleston. We are having our 250th annual celebration dinner on Wed (evening) Jan 20th  (2016) at the Yacht Club on East Bay St. We would love to have the Governor and her spouse as our guests – The Ambassador of Germany is planned to be out main speaker and we will also have the Consul General as well. I’m sure the Ambassador will want to call on a few of the German businesses while he is in town and thought it might be appropriate for the Governor to be with us. This is just a save the date type of invitation – formal invitations will be mailed out later. We just are trying to get a head count (limited guests). If you could email me back letting me know you have received, that would be appreciated – then you can get back with me later re her interest. Thank you very much – Bill Frehse
