S.C. gets $7 million Justice Department grant

The U.S. Justice Department is giving South Carolina $7.1 million to fight drugs and terrorism.

The money from the Office of Justice Programs will be used for multi-jurisdictional drug task forces, to improve crime labs and for anti-terrorism equipment and training, according to the agency.

The amount of the grants are based on state population.
