Please appoint Mr. Brian Adams as interim Berkeley County Sheriff.  Mr. Adams has law enforcement experience, conservative values, and strategies for improving the sheriff's department.  He has been in law enforcement for twenty-three years and is currently serving as the Lieutenant for the North Charleston police department.  He is committed to the Constitution and would protect both his constituents and their freedoms.  Because he ran for sheriff in the primary last June, he has already developed strategies to reduce deputy emergency response times; reduce taxpayer spending by decreasing staff turnover and overtime; and improve relationships within the sheriff's department and the community.
