Hello my name is michael
Recently my wife and i and 82 year old mother in law was evicted from where we was renting.
We moved from alabama back to south carolina cause my brother-n-law was diagnois with cancer
three years ago and wanted to move back to be around family.
The place were we moved into the landlord was really wanted to sell the place instead of renting it.
At that time i was in such pain from loading the truck because i have a bulging and hernated disk and arthurize in my back
it didn't dawn on me at the time that after signing the lease the landlord said he was really wanting to sell instead of renting the 

place. 4 months later after the passing of my brother-n-law(9/11/13) the landlord shows up at the house stating that we haven't 

paid rent since we been there. That is a lie because my brother-n-law always paid the rent after his disability check cleared the 

bank. Rent and power bill was always the first items paid after our disability checks cleared the bank. 
Well we had to up our rent from $650.00 to $750.00 amonth. Well that was tight for us but we barely made it. 
Samething happen again except the landlord didn't show up at the house but he called and said that we were 2 more months behind 

on rent and that we had to move out in less then aweek. I ask him to give us till payday to move out cause we had no money to move 

with, he said no that's not an option. In result we was force to live in our vehicle for (2)weeks and living off of a small hamburger 

aday.
Since all that we lost our vehicle and thanks to friend of the family and ex--military friend of my late brother-n-law which got us a 

motel room so we would have a place to live, orelse we would be living in the woods somewheres.
We need tougher disability and senior citizens laws!!
No landlord should beable to make a person with disabilities move if thier unable physically tomove.
No landlord should beable to make senior citizens homeless irregardless what the situation is.
