I would like to voice my anger with the treatment of citizens whose vehicles were towed during the evacuation of the Summerville SPCA. The towing company that wanted to charge vehicle owners $250 dollars to get their cars back and then jacked up the price $75 more when they contacted media is totally uncalled for, this towing company Carolina Recovery has several contracts with different police agencies as well as SCHP. As a tax payer of this State I feel that companies that do this type of business should not be rewarded with contracts by our local and state governments. And should be punished to the fullest during a rescue because of all of the flooding. Please do not ignore this!
