Dear Governor,

   I am new to South Carolina. I suffer from P.T.S.D. just like thousands of military veterans. This weekend there will be fireworks. I know that it's late to bring this up but fireworks can set off symptoms of P.T.S.D. and cause major setbacks to those who have it. My suggestion is to have someone on your staff contact local businesses and make them aware of this issue and offer sound blocking headphones to these persons who have given their service to our country and in fact, to this state. I am not from the Military, I am an EMT from NJ. Where I was injured, shot at and beaten. I have a horrible time with fireworks and have to hide in a closet until they are over. 
  I know this has come at the last hour but I'd hope that someone can do something. P.T.S.D. is the number one cause of suicide in Emergency providers, Fire, Police and EMS. I considered it myself but believe God has a plan for me.
