Lee Bright proposed a bill that would mandate people use the bathroom/ shower rooms corresponding to the sex they were born with. You said it was unnecessary, that we didn't need it. Normally I agree to limit government but I know there are people willing to use this open bathrooms, not because they are transgender, but because they can. Case in point.... my 14 year old daughter and her 15 year old friend were in Myrtle Beach in a family campground bathroom on a CHURCH retreat when 2 boys came in laughing and commenting that they can use whatever bathroom they choose now. One boy, about 9, took a shower while his brother, 14-15, stayed in the bathroom making comments and profanity while my daughter stood in front of the shower for her friend so they could finish and leave. Both girls were scared and uncomfortable. Thanks for that. I love how the majority seems to get marginalized so the minority can be treated "fairly." If the outcome would have come down differently and my child or her friend were harmed.... I thought it was majority rules with minority consideration, not vice versa. Please take the steps necessary to protect our kids from people who use the "gender neutral" bathrooms for their pleasure.
