I read yesterday that you are going to sign an executive order which will allow state employees to receive compensation for the missed days due to flooding.  My question is what about the average citizen in our state.  An employee that is hourly their employer isn't paying them for missed time.  It seems to me that state employees are valued higher than non-state employees.  I hope that you reconsider your decision and your decision should be made with all the citizens of south Carolina in mind.
