Hi Governor Haley, I hope you actually receive this.  I am a super busy mom with my own business, so for me to take time out to do this means more than you will probably understand. I just wanted to write to let you know that you are even impacting people outside your state. I learned about you from my daughter (who is now studying mechanical engineering at Clemson).  I saw you during the shootings and with the flag incident and later your State of the Union speech. I am not a person who really cares for politics at all and you are one of the first people in office in a long time that has made me take notice.  I just wanted to take a moment to encourage you to keep on the path that you are and stay your own person - a grounded person who really seems to be for her people. I hope that part of you never changes.  

When we can say something nice and encourage someone (especially someone in office who might have to make tough decisions) I wanted to take a minute to do that today. I thought it might be nice for you to know that you are even being noticed by those outside your state.  I am actually hoping to move to SC someday. I love it there but in the meantime, keep up the great work and stay focused on God and all the things you have stood for already. Your positive impact will continue to spread that way.  I wish more politicians had the same consistency, courage and grounded presentation that seem to have.  Best of wishes to you :)
