I have heard rumors of this and even seen similar stories in the news, however none were as convincing or as well-documented as the story in the link below.  It is every parents worst nightmare to have a child wrongfully taken away and it appears that it has happened here in the upstate.  I can only hope you will take a few moments of your day to read this story and help this family out.  While it's a start to fix this particular problem, there are others.  Can we make it law to require DSS to return children if criminal charges are dropped?   Not only return, but return them without any requirements of any kind placed on the parents.  They have no right to take children without proof and then require classes and inspections and such when they were clearly wrong to take them to start with!  Tell DSS to stop wasting taxpayer money and time prosecuting good people! Stop this obvious abuse of government power.  PLEASE propose some laws to protect good citizens from such abuse from the DSS.
