The Capers family have lived in the Georgetown and Sampit area for over a century and a half. They are convening a reunion this summer in Myrtle Beach and Georgetown on July 10th to July 13 to celebrate family heritage, unity and the blessings of the Lord. The Capers are a strong, accomplished, people of African descent who have worked hard and made contributions in the areas of education, business, medicine, leadership and public service to their community and country.
