Family Dollar corporate executives and employees will come to Columbia for our Spread the Love event on February 12- 13, 2016 to distribute more than 20,000 diapers to mothers and custodial grandparents in need. Mom4Moms will serve more than 300 parents in need. During this two-day event, Mom4Moms will distribute diapers, wipes, and new and gently used baby items. The City of Columbia has donated the venue for the event (Drew Wellness Center) and we would love to have our Governor stop by. On behalf of Mom4Moms, Governor Haley previously proclaimed September 28-October 4, 2015 as "Diaper Need Awareness Week". The proclamation described the need of providing diapers to babies, the effect that Diaper Need has on families, and encouraged all South Carolinians to recognize the importance of diapers in providing economic stability for families and work together to help alleviate diaper need in the Palmetto State.
