I live in Summerton, and we have experienced an unprecedented spawning of mosquitoes due to the standing water after the flood. The situation has gotten so bad that it is difficult to even walk from the house to our vehicles in the yard without being attacked multiple times. Others in our county have shared their own concerns about the increased mosquito population, and we are all concerned about the impact this increase could make in the health of the citizens and livestock of the state. I am urging you to look into the possibility of approving the use of spraying the area with some type of insecticide to help fight the mosquito swarms in Clarendon County. Thank you so much for your time and consideration.
