Your tears and call for prayer are insincere and will solve nothing. Your longterm stance against gun control, and the fact that your State continues to honor the confederate flag should be reminders that you are a part of the problem, not a part of the solution. Yes, I understand the flag cannot be removed or changed without a 2/3 majority from your state legislature, but you as the leader of your state, should be vocal in your support of changes that can lead your state, and our nation to a better place. Has there not been enough killing in your state recently to help you realize that you do need to understand what causes these acts of terror and hate to take place? Let the rest of the nation do the praying and the questioning; it is your job to lead change. Respectfully, Ron Montgomery
