First of all logisticare did not assign the transportation company I requested, I have need of a wheelchair transportation vehicle to transport myself and an escort whenever necessary to my doctor's appointments on time, but on March 30, 2016 which was a Wednesday my appointment was at 3:15 pm I wasn't picked up from my resident until 3:15 pm, arriving at my appointment at 3:39 pm and this was a very important appointment and I had to pray that the doctor would still see me with my late arrival time, thank goodness he did but after my appointment was over I call Logisticare for my return trip home which was at 5:07 pm and the caller put me on hold to call for my ride and she returned to the call and said that my ride would be there to pick me up in 10 minutes, and I ended up waiting about 1 hour and 20 minutes for transport to actually arrive only after I called the transportation company and the dispatcher claims there was a confusion as to which driver was to pick me and my escort up, this has happened several times before with this same transportation company and I try to be a patient person and give it another try, but the situation isn't getting any better, I not sure if the transportation company is taking on more calls than they can handle or if the owners of the transportation company is in it for the money and not the care of the clients well-being. It bothers me now because I have more up-coming appointments (Chemo-treatments) that I NEED to arrive on time for. My next issue is why give clients a choose as to which transportation company they want and than not assign the requested company. 98.25.210.130
