Governor Haley,
I have always viewed you as an up and coming star in the Republican party. Historically I have found your positions on many subjects to align perfectly with what I view to be the traditional Republican views on matters so I have been a strong supporter. I am deeply troubled by what I see in the party these days. The party leadership - as I perceived it - was once supportive of small government, balanced budgets and representative of Constitutional legislation. What is increasingly obvious to those of us outside of the political "goings-on" have watched with some dismay as corruption has eroded our representatives to little more than third world hacks who represent their handlers interests much more than the interests of the American people who elect them. I was deeply saddened to see you have become one of them. When you attacked the front running candidates of the Republican party and criticized them for publicly acknowledging what the politically correct Demo/Socialists refuse to recognize - namely that Islam is an ideology inconsistent with American Laws and culture - I knew we had lost you to the corruption of the process. I am so sorry to see you "bought off" by the embedded elements of the Republican party Governor. You truly were - to me - a bright light on the horizon. There is still time Governor to escape the sinking pull of the political quicksand you have become enveloped into but it will probably take an act of faith - by you -  in the American people for you to realize the "wrongness" of your present thoughts. The American people are not going to see the political destruction of our great country without a fight Governor. I would really like to see you on the right side of the impending battle. You could be such an amazing voice for the people who want to see the Beacon Of Hope that America has represented to the world be rekindled and restored to its one time brightness. I am genuinely hoping for your enlightenment for I truly believe that a truly conservative Nikki Haley is a far more likely POTUS that Hillary Clinton will ever be.
