Pleasant SC 29464 ajaltmanmusic@gmail.com IMMI Carolighting 69.1.8.213 Dear Governor Haley, I was incredibly moved by your statements at the Carolighting last night. The tragedies in our home state have been devastating and has shaken us to the core and have touched me personally. But what you said about how much our state has come together in support for each other with the One SC fund and other support systems got me thinking about how else we can show our faith, love, and unity. For this reason, I believe the South Carolina state government should reconsider aligning itself with other states who refuse to accept Syrian refugees. I am as wary of Islamic extremists as the next guy, but it shouldn't be ignored that the majority of these people are in as much need of refuge as anyone affected by the floods. I'm not trying to be politically correct or play some sort of "oppression Olympics"- I'm just a concerned citizen who loves his home and wants to do the right thing. Thank you for your kind words at the Carolighting last night, and I wish you, your staff, and your family a Merry Christmas! -AJ Altman
