Mrs. Haley,

You made a HUGE mistake going on TV Tuesday afternoon, and issuing a mandatory evacuation and forcefully shutting down schools in well over half the counties in the state....FOR NO REASON.  The hurricane storm was still well over 1,000 miles away. Yet you thought it prudent to go on TV and warn people that it was definitely heading for the SC coast and would wreak havoc everywhere. You created a mass hysteria and induced serious panic into the populous for no reason.  Here we are 24 hours away and the storm's path is continually moving further and further away from the state.  I hope your predecessors learn this important lesson about crying wolf.  Now, our children will have to miss spring break because you forced them out of school for nothing.  You bullied city and county governments into shutting down for no reason, now those people will be without 3 days worth of pay.  People fled Charleston on your orders Tuesday night, now they wont be able to return to their homes until Sunday at the earliest because of your ridiculous one way only on the interstates...ALL FOR NOTHING!!! What a king sized, terrible waste of state revenue and resources all because you prematurely jumped the gun.  Ridiculous.
