I have served overseas in Afghanistan, and Iraq. I try everyday to do the right thing. This situation really irritates me. Wayne Dewitt actions were beyond anything I have witnessed. It shows the common man that we can't break the law; but he can, and get sworn in as sheriff. Can we hold a special election? Can your Dept. fire him? I demand justice! If removing him is out of the question, then please recall, he was voted in by the people that will be selected for jury duty. At the least I am implore you to take action and not let this man stand trial in Berkeley County court. Thank you for your time.
