We are requesting the Governor's attendance/participation at this groundbreaking because this is a significant development in Rock Hill.  This is a mixed-use community linking the vibrant downtown of Rock Hill with Winthrop University.  It is part of a master plan that includes 160,000 SF office space, 157,000 SF of an indoor Athletic Complex, 120 room-hotel and banquet center, 15,000 SF retail and food vendors, 26,000 SF restaurant and indoor stage complex, 500 beds of student housing, 65 units of rental apartments, 90-unit Active Adult apartments.
	
This is the groundbreaking for the Lowenstein Building - the first building on this site to break ground!
