I will quote Former President Ronald Reagan as a response to the speech you gave.    " I urge you to beware the temptation of pride-the temptation of blithely declaring yourselves above it all and label both sides equally at fault, to ignore the facts of history and the aggressive impulses of an evil empire, to simply call the arms race a giant misunderstanding and thereby remove yourself from the struggle between right and wrong and good and evil."   I strongly believe this is exactly what you did in your speech and that you are very wrong in doing so.  While I have considered myself to be open minded and have held a center right stance on the issues, I now consider myself more of a conservative since the Republican leader ship and so called "establishment" have move so far to the left ideologically, aligning themselves more with the Democrats and socialism than with the majority of Americans.  I do not want the United States to become a social democracy, similar to those Europe and Canada.   I am committed to the adherence to the Constitution, it's original intent and not some twisted idea of what it should be; which I believe are the intentions of our current President.
