State to Receive Money to Fight Terrorism
South Carolina will receive nearly $1.9 million in federal funds for emergency and terrorism preparedness.

The funds come from the Department of Homeland Security. The money was allocated among states on the basis of population and level of vulnerability.

South Carolina has received a total of $2.6 million this fiscal year through the Emergency Management Performance Grant program.
