Our office understands your concerns and frustrations and would like to refer you to State authorities that have the responsibility to conduct investigations of allegations of public corruption. If a public official is indicted for certain actions of misconduct or corruption, the Governor may suspend that official from office pursuant to her constitutional and statutory authority under the laws of the State of South Carolina.

Like you, Governor Haley believes that the people of South Carolina deserve good, honest, open and transparent government, which is exactly why she has been leading the effort to pass meaningful, comprehensive ethics reform for almost two years. The current ethics reform bill, H.3945, is pending before the State House of Representatives, so we encourage you to contact your House member with your opinion on having stronger ethics laws in the State of South Carolina.
