The Confederate Flag, symbolizes the history of the South. Your decision, and that of the others, is nothing more than a "knee jerk" reaction to protect your political jobs and, look good in the eyes of the voters. Rather, you should be concentrating on the issues, and what's wrong with Society today. To close take a ride though your State, and stop occasionally as I have, at an old southern cemetery. Look at the headstones that proudly fly the "Flag of the South" and names of those people that gave their lives for South Carolina. Ask those relatives to remove the flag and see what the reaction is.
