We would like a proclamation for March 17 to be honored as a day that is Designated as A Celebration of Music and the Arts in our Schools across the state for all schools and for March 17, 2016 to be Hendrix
Arts Day.
I hope that this is more clear.
Best,
JE Dudley

Subject: Music in Our Schools Month
Good morning, Mr. Dudley.
I am responding to your email, copied below, regarding a proclamation from the Governor. I would appreciate it if you could provide a little more information about what you are seeking (Music in Our Schools Month? Arts in Our Schools Day?)
and the dates of any observances/events.
Thank you for your help.

March is Music in our schools month. James H Hendrix Elementary School in Boiling Springs, SC is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Music in our Schools Month with a festival featuring performances by local groups,
district students, and local college music programs. We would like a proclamation for March 2017, 2016 to be honored as a day that schools in the great state of South Carolina celebrate Arts in our schools, whether it be Art, Creative Movement, Drama, or Music;
we would also like to make that same day, Hendrix Arts Day.
Many Thanks!
