TUESDAY

• THE HOUSE convenes at noon. Judiciary Committee (516 Blatt Building, 2:30 p.m.) takes up changes in how lawsuits are handled; K-12 Education Subcommittee (433 Blatt Building, 2:30 p.m.) takes up bill that would require the Education Department to develop “career cluster” curricula

• THE SENATE convenes at noon; Judiciary Committee (105 Gressette Building, 3 p.m.) takes up several government restructuring bills

WEDNESDAY

• THE HOUSE convenes at 10 a.m.; could take up bill to create Department of Administration in the governor’s Cabinet that would assume some of the duties of the State Budget and Control Board; Education and Public Works Committee (433 Blatt Building, 2:30 p.m.) takes up bill that would prohibit the naming of state roads and bridges for anyone who is alive

• THE SENATE convenes at 2 p.m.; Education K-12 Subcommittee (207 Gressette Building, 10 a.m.) takes up bill that would seek to prevent bullying in schools

THURSDAY

• THE HOUSE convenes at 10 a.m.; Constitutional Laws Subcommittee (516 Blatt Building, 9 a.m.) takes up bills that would trim the length of the annual legislative session by three weeks to more than a month

• THE SENATE convenes at 11 a.m.; Ports Authority Subcommittee (207 Gressette Building, 9:30 a.m.) hears a briefing from the S.C. State Ports Authority
