Dear Governor Haley,
I am writing you concerning the travesty portrayed by the media regarding The Citadel and its leaders. There is no finer institute of higher learning in this great nation of ours. As an exceptionally proud parent of a Citadel Cadet, I can personally testify to its devotion of upholding the core values of honor, duty and respect. 
I have entrusted The Citadel with my greatest treasure, my son. In less than six months he has transformed from your average teenager to a mature, articulate, well-groomed and confident gentleman. His daily thought process evolves around the values and principles instilled within from his short tenure at The Citadel.
I implore you to not let men like Al Sharpton and the National Action Network diminish the good name of The Citadel and its leaders, all the while promoting their agenda. Do not let them have any influence over forcing the president to resign. This matter should be handled internal to The Citadel and its proven ability to lead and govern.
