Governor Haley, I beg you to reconsider your decision on accepting federal monies so that the people of South Carolina can receive the medical care they need. I have a chronic illness, I lost my coverage in 2010 and have been uninsured since. That means that I have not had access to medical procedures that are needed in order to monitor and treat my illness (Crohn's Disease). If you are not willing to change your mind than perhaps you should look at what Colorado has done with the legalizing of marijuana, they have created HUGE amounts of revenue for the state that is helping the people of their state in many ways, the revenue created by legalizing marijuana could be directed towards healthcare for those that are uninsured in our state. After having an appointment at Franklin C Fetter clinic today I was informed that getting any type of medical care for those that are uninsured is EXTREMELY HARD, that leads me to wonder why??? If you do not want to accept federal monies than it is your responsibility to figure out a solution for those of us in this state that have chronic health issues that prevent us from being a productive working citizen and that require regular medical attention. Regards, Jodi Belt Voting citizen of South Carolina
