I cannot believe that this Family Court system has held a mentally handicapped individual for over 3 years for a Family Court Order for mental evaluation.  If you have a reason for which the Union County Jail has held this mentally handicapped individual for this long!!!!  His parents are also mentally handicapped.  Why is this being done?  Is it because the jail gets money from the Federal Government for the number of inmates being held for money?  Where is the humanity?  Why doesn't the Family Court Judge push that Melvin get the treatment he needs?  He has been held for over 3 years in protective custody for this long!  Does Nikki Haley care about the mental health for the people that need it????  Does the S.C. Department of Mental Health need to get involved in this lack of responsibility to the mental health of S.C. citizens?  If this individual had money I bet he would have had the treatment ordered!!!  Where is the Governor's responsibility for the mentally challenaged individuals in her state??  Is she only concerned to brag about the jobs she is bringing into the state giving these industries huge tax brakes?  Where is the infrasture to accommodate the incoming industries?  Where is that money coming from?  Is it by cutting mental health funds that has happened during her time as Governor?
