Regarding my previous message about the road funding and the DOT, you wrote that you passed on my concerns to the DOT. I hope that you did not give them my name. After all, I do need to renew my driver's license and so on. As for the funding itself, the critics say that one Billion dollars is needed and therefore the Governor's plan falls short. To those I critics I say: "Why does everything need to be fixed the first year?" If the plan can raise $300 Million per year, we should be good in 3 years or so. This is better than "kicking (yet another) can down the road". As for all those engineers on the payroll, if there is no money to design, build, repair what do all these people do on a daily bassi?
