His remains were recently identified, and the funeral will be held 21 March 2015 at 1:00pm in Pelzer at Gray Mortuary. The family requested I contact the Governor's Office. District 5 Rep. Neil Collins' mother is PFC Bowers' sister. I am a USA Battalion Chaplain stationed at Fort Jackson and a proud SC native from Greenwood.
